Anti Virus for Macintosh

Postby three7 » 2004 12 04 1811

I'm writing to ask you Rick..
what you think of "Authentium ESP AntiVirus" for the Macintosh,
as this IS the program I chose to use..
It seems to work quite well..
I tried using Norton, but unfortunately..
the one I tried Only supported OS 9+(classic)
I do use Norton for my Win PC..
but found the Authentium - for my eMac.
I was prompted by reading your Newest posting
on your web site..
Let me know.. three7
PS.. Happiest of Holidays, to you & yours :P

I note your mail to me, your private message and your posting on the topic. :) One message would have sufficed. I've never heard of the company before, though I have now done a search and had a look. For now, I'll hang tough. I don't usually try new products until at least the company has been around for a while and has a solid track record.

eMac and Norton not good together

Postby three7 » 2004 12 28 1008

Hope you had a Christmas Blessing..

I'm still using "Authentium ESP for Macintosh",
as stated in last post - the problem w/eMac still
exists for my Macintosh.. unfortunately Norton
does not support the "eMac w/OSX 10.3+" and
ask if I want to get yet another FIX for it, I must
then write to them & order yet another CD from
them for more $$ - when you look up what is actually
supported w/NAV 3, or NAV 9, etc.. it only shows
support for the "Power Mac/iMac/Power Book"
So, that's is why I've chosen to use & continue using
"Authentium ESP for Macintosh" it's just much better
for Me... If you have any comments, please respond.
